Little Man is 2!

This morning I was looking at some pictures posted on Facebook by His Hands Taiwan. (This is the baby home that we got Jake from). I was looking at a picture of a newly united family and wanted to see if there were any other pics of the meeting. Lo and Behold, the 2nd picture I saw was the very first photo of little Mr. Jin-Cheng the day he came to His Hands. He had just been released from the NICU, he was a month old.


It is hard to see, but he was so tiny, preemie clothes were too big for him. Two years later, Jake is a robust, healthy, very active little boy. He has the most infectious belly laugh. It will have you in tears because you are laughing so hard at his laughter. And when he gives you the 'squinch' eye, you will fall for anything he wants. Jake will look at you, knowing he is in trouble, and then flash you this smile and you will be at his mercy. He squinches up his eyes, while giving you a million watt smile. No one is immune to the Squinch Eye!
