The Good Behavior Golden Ticket
Natalie's Golden Ticket with the award that she chose......A Clifford Beanie!
The first day went wonderfully! I don't know who was more nervous - Natalie or Daddy and Mommy. OK, I do know....it was Daddy and Mommy!
As soon as Natalie got in the classroom and met her new teacher, she was fine. Once she sat down in her seat and saw the connect-the-dots worksheet, she was all set. Notice she turns to Daddy and tells him that he can now leave. Little Miss Independent!
Natalie's new teacher was so impressed with her wonderful behavior (Don't be fooled, she was too shy to talk to her new tablemates!) that she gave Natalie the class "Golden Ticket". When the teacher feels that a student has done something above and beyond, she presents them with the "Golden Ticket" which the child redeems by choosing a prize out of the Treasure Box. Of course, Natalie chose a dog! As she put it.... "They didn't have a Pegasus Unicorn in the prize box, so I picked a dog!" Silly teacher, she needs to have a better selection of prizes. We'll have to talk to her about that! LOL!
She may talk once she feels more comfortable, but that only proves that she's not only bright but she's also socially competent.
