Heritage Days Fun!

While out shopping, we drove by a farmer's market, so we decided to stop. It just so happened that they were having a Heritage Day Celebration at the park where the farmer's market was being held. What a great way to enjoy the beautiful fall weather.

Let's pet the pony!

Hey Mom, check out the weird-looking bunny!

So this is how people lived in the olden days?

Trying to pet the sheep

Hey Grandma, sheep are cool!

Jake and his new found friends, the alpacas.

Jake was fascinated by the alpacas, he did not want to leave them. If he could have spent all afternoon with them, he would have been a happy camper. Unfortunately the alpacas did not share his enthusiasm. I think they just wanted to be left alone.

  1. It's so cool that you stumbled on this activity! The kids seem to have had a spectacular time. I love seeing kids discovering things. It helps me remember when things were still new and fascinating to me.
